DIMAPUR — The Kohima Village Council (KVC) has reiterated its earlier resolution for the conduct of a “clean election” across its entire jurisdiction of Kohima village.
It has requested all the electorate of various polling stations within its traditional jurisdiction to adhere to the clean election rules and conduct on election day.
In a press release, the KVC also conveyed that, should any individual, group, or political party be found indulging in any electoral malpractice that may infringe upon the principles of clean elections as affirmed by the KVC, the KVC will not hesitate to take disciplinary action against such miscreants at any moment.
The KVC requested every elector whose names are enlisted in the electoral roll to exercise their franchise compulsorily to elect the most competent leader to the Lok Sabha.
