KU conducts student development programme at SSP
DIMAPUR — Kaziranga University (KU), in collaboration with the Assam Rifles (AR), conducted a student development programme and career workshop for the students of Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) under Peren district on February 7 on the theme “Building youth for the nation.”
An update from the school informed that resource persons from Kaziranga University presented various lectures on making right choices and pragmatic approach towards career after school and how the right set skills and attitude could shape the future.
It stated that the students were also briefed about how to develop finer arts like communication and how it can bring greater implications in all facets of career. The lectures were presented by Abhijeet Bhardwaj, manager of Kaziranga University, and Bobby Roy, CMO and dean of Kaziranga University.
It event was organised with the sole objective of creating awareness on how various job opportunities across all platforms required not just educational qualifications but also refined soft skills where standards are rising on an everyday basis.
A total of approximately 320 students participated in the workshop.
Meanwhile, the school authorities as well as the teachers and faculty have expressed gratitude to the Kaziranga University and Assam Rifles for their efforts and innovative works in reaching out the young people in remote areas and assisting them to join the national mainstream by providing requisite awareness by such events and supporting administratively.
