Kohima, April 28 (EMN):
Considering the hardship that people face on account of the nationwide lockdown in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, Kros College in Kohima has announced to exempt admission fee both for academic and hostel for students seeking admission to first semester 2020.

The college, run and managed by Kros Education Society, offers undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Commerce (honours and general) and Bachelor of Arts (honours and general) in English, History, Political Science, Education, Economics and Sociology.

The announcement was made on April 27 by the president of Kros Education Society, Kevisiezolie Suohu, and its secretary, Vidilhou Suohu. A copy of the announcement made available to media houses stated that “admission shall be opened as and when NBSE declare Class XII results.”

Meanwhile, All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) had, in a press statement, appreciated the exemplary gestures of the institution and expressed hope that ‘it would embolden other colleges to do the same or more.’

The union has also put into record various agencies for helping the students community and appreciated all the efforts during the time of pandemic.
