KPC announces fellows for KPC-NBOCWWB media fellowship

DIMAPUR — The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has announced the list of selected fellows for the 2nd edition of the Kohima Press Club and Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (KPC-NBOCWWB) media fellowship 2023.

Imti Longchar of The Morung Express (Dimapur), Reyivolu Rhakho of Eastern Mirror (Kohima), and Thejoto Nienu of Eastern Mirror (Kohima) have been selected in the print category, while Caisii Mao of The Morung Express (Dimapur) has been selected in the photography category, and Grace Khuvung of NLTV (Kohima) has been selected in the video journalism category.

The KPC-NBOCWWB media fellows will receive a grant of INR 50,000 as part of the fellowship programme for a specified number of in-depth stories highlighting the experiences and challenges faced by the construction industry in Nagaland, written, captured, reported, published, and broadcast over a three-month period from September to November 2023.

The KPC, in collaboration with the NBOCWWB, will be organising an orientation workshop for the selected fellows on August 31 at 12 noon at LCS building, Kohima. Besides the selected fellows, all the members of KPC have also been requested to attend the programme.
