DIMAPUR — The Kohima Press Club (KPC) held its annual sports meet on October 12 at Indoor Stadium Kohima, with members participating in various disciplines such as arm wrestling, table tennis, target shooting, badminton, and darts.
The sports event was organised to foster a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork among participants, stated an update.
Following the events, KPC senior member HK Chishi presented the certificates and cash prizes to the winners.
Meanwhile, KPC president Alice Yhoshü thanked the members for their participation and expressed gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister and minister-in-charge of the Planning and Transformation Department TR Zeliang, along with MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu, for sponsoring the prize money for the winners.
She also acknowledged the Nagaland Darts Association, Nagaland Olympics Association, Youth Resources and Sports Directorate, Kohima District Table Tennis Association, and Kohima District Badminton Association for their logistical support.
