DIMAPUR — The Kohima Japukongtsür Telongjem (KJT) organised a seminar on September 21 at the Changki Mentsü, PWD Junction, on the theme “Invest in women: accelerate progress” with Imtijungla Longchar, teacher and author, as the resource speaker.

An update from the organisation stated that the speaker spoke on the importance of women investing in themselves financially, mentally, socially and personally in both the sessions.

She stressed on the importance of self care and identity, the need to realise one’s skills and not to limit one’s potential. She also spoke on financial freedom and literacy, marriage, solving conflict, etiquettes, AI culture, money scams, LGBTQ issues and the need for women to stay updated in the ever changing world.

The sessions were followed with question and answer session.

Dr. Imnasenla Imchen chaired the programme, while T Rongsenyangla Aier, associate pastor of Kohima Ao Baptist Church, said the invocation prayer and Ayula Longchar, president of Kohima Japukongtsür Telongjem, delivered the welcome speech.

A song was also presented by Molungnenla Longkumer.

The report stated that a lucky dip was organised by Moamenla Aier during tea break and 20 lucky women walked away with attractive prizes.

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Chubasenla, convenor of the seminar committee.
