Kohima DPDB meeting reviews departmental activities
DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting on November 28 at the DPDB conference hall in Kohima, presided over by deputy commissioner (DC) and vice chairman of DPDB Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant.
According to a DIPR report, on the occasion, the DC expressed gratitude to the district offices, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), and Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) for their participation in the morning mass social work and urged the district offices to provide reports on the social work conducted by their respective offices.
The Oriental College Kohima Alumni Association presented its organisation for recommendation during the meeting, and the board decided to recommend it to the government for further necessary actions. The Society of Victory Ministries was accepted and approved in principle for verification.
The DC urged all departments to collaborate and use the DPDB platform to address departmental issues, and participation in the upcoming statehood day and Hornbill Festival 2023 was sought.
The chief medical officer of Kohima presented on the occasion the departmental activities on the universal immunisation programme and outlined activities for the fiscal year 2023-2024, while the department of Industries was tasked with presenting its activities at the next DPDB meeting.
