KKR beat Sunrisers by 22 runs, march into playoffs

KOLKATA, MAY 22 : SUNIL Narine’s outstanding bowling figures of 3/26 helped Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) seal a 22-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) here on Sunday and march into the play-offs of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Sunrisers only managed 149/8 chasing a target of 172 runs. Shikhar Dhawan top scored for the visitors with a 30-ball 51 at the Eden Gardens. Besides Narine, Kuldeep Yadav picked up two crucial wickets for the home team.
Brief Scores: Kolkata Knight Riders: 171/6 (Yusuf Pathan 52, Manish Pandey 48; Bhuvneshwar Kumar 2-31, Deepak Hooda 2-16) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad: 149/8 (Shikhar Dhawan 51; Sunil Narine 3-26).


RCB beat Delhi by six wickets to qualify for play-offs

Leading from the front, skipper Virat Kohli (54 not out) smashed yet another half-century to guide his Royal Challengers Bangalore to a comfortable six-wicket victory over Delhi Daredevils in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Sunday.
With the win, RCB climbed to second spot in points table with 16 points from 14 games and thus qualify for play-offs..
Brief scores: Royal Challengers Bangalore 139/4 (Kohli 54*, Rahul 38; Brathwaite 1/18) beat Delhi Daredevils 138/8 (De Kock 60, Morris 27*; Chahal 3/32) by six wickets

Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Loins and Sunrisers Hyderabad are now qualified for the play-offs.
