Khuza Students’ Union has complaint against a teacher who was appointed and posted to Khuza village’s, in Phek, Government middle School but has not turned up for work and that he is now being transferred. The students’ union issued a press release today stating that the teacher, one Thupukhrumi Lohe was appointed and posted on July 3, 2013. He has “remained absent without any leave from the leave sanctioned authority,” the union said in the press release.
“Moreover, to divert from the issues, the incumbent is being now transferred to GPS, New Colony, Phek town… The incumbent or the authority concerned should not take this issue or granted at the cost of compromising the priceless and precious career of the students,” the union said.
The organization has demanded from the director of School Education Department to immediately terminate the said teacher and appoint another qualified teacher.
The students union has warned that the ‘transfer and posting authority’ must “stop random posting and transfer of teachers without sparing the career and future of the students, as its not only hampering the career of the students but also normal functioning of the school.”
“If our demand is not fulfilled, the union shall resume the full right to peruse our own course of action against the defaulter and authority concerned. Further, the concerned department shall be held responsible for any untoward incident,” the union said.
