Kezieke volleyball tournament concludes

Kohima, Oct. 9 (EMN): Kezieke Welfare Board organised Kezieke volleyball tournament on the theme ‘Building community through sports,’ on October 8 in Kohima.

The competition was organised for the first time in a bid to foster better relationship and understanding amongst residents of Kezieke colony.

In the men’s competition, Sector – C emerged champions while Sector – D2 and Sector – E1 bagged second and third positions respectively.

In the women’s discipline, Sector – D2 won the champions title while Sector – G and Sector – D1 bagged second and third positions respectively.

In each category, the champions received INR 5,000 while first and second runners-up received INR 3,000 and INR 2,000 respectively.

Altogether, seven sectors competed in the men’s and six sectors in the women’s category.
