Kenguruse Memorial Football Tournament: Two teams from Peren district to clash in final

Kohima, Nov. 21 (EMN): Barak FC and Lengreng FC, both from Peren district, will clash in the grand finale of the ongoing 6th Capt. (Late) N Kenguruse, MVC (P) Memorial Football Tournament on November 23 at IG Stadium in Kohima.

Barak FC stormed into the final after defeating defending champions Tehok FC (Mon) 5-4 in a thrilling penalty shootout during the first semi-final match on Monday in Kohima.

Meanwhile, Lengreng FC entered the final overpowering Head Hunters FC (164 TA) 3-2 in the second semi-final match.

While the much anticipated final showdown between the two formidable teams of the tournament from Peren is awaited, the two semifinalists — Tehok FC and Head Hunters FC — will lock horns for the third place title at 11 am on Tuesday (November 22).
