Kohima, Oct. 17 (EMN): A three-day volleyball referee clinic under the aegis of Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) got underway on Monday at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
The referee clinic registered 42 participants with 29 from Kohima, three from Zunheboto, two each from Phek and Niuland, four from Chumoukedima, , and one each from Tseminyu and Peren.
The clinic features Romeo Singh, international volleyball referee and referee coach of All Manipur Volleyball Association as resource person.
Earlier, the inaugural programme was chaired by Mhalelhou Mere while welcome address was delivered by KDVA president Visasielie Suhu. KDVA secretary Neivikhotuo Vielie invoked God’s blessing.
The clinic will continue till October 19.
