KDBA announces inter-high school basketball tournament

DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Basketball Association (KDBA) has announced the inaugural inter-high school basketball tournament for both boys and girls, scheduled to take place from October 2 to the 4th at St. Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Lerie, Kohima.

In a press release, the association has invited all high schools under Kohima district to participate in this first-of-its-kind tournament.

It mentioned that the winners of the tournament will receive a cash prize of INR 30,000 each for both boys’ and girls’ categories, while the runners-up will be awarded INR 20,000 each, along with certificates.

Additionally, the best-disciplined school will receive INR 5,000, and the most valuable player (MVP) from both boys’ and girls’ categories will also receive INR 5,000 each.
