The Kewhimia Badminton Club (KBC) will be holding a one day badminton tournament for all interested Kewhimia badminton players/enthusiasts on January 31 at the Indoor Badminton Stadium, Kohima. The tournament is aimed at promoting this sports among all young and old has invited all Kewhimia badminton players both amateur and professionals to the tournament. Anyone participating in the tournament will automatically become a member of the club.
Interested players are requested to contact-Vilar (Treasurer) at 9436607654, Kethosituo (Convenor) at 9436001625. They can also directly register themselves by contacting Atsü-u or Beizo or Azo at the Indoor Badminton stadium, Kohima, on any working day between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM or the YONEX shop opposite to the stadium during the day time.A registration charge of Rs.1000 will be collected towards payment of expenses. There will be exciting prizes for the winners. All registered players will be divided into two groups i.e., A & B. Group A will consist of good players and B the amateur ones, further one player of group A and another of B will be paired up to form a doubles team by draw of lots to give an equal edge to all the teams.
