KADAC holds interaction with head of schools
DIPHU — Karbi Anglong District Academic Council (KADAC) on Thursday organised a one-day interactive programme with principals and headmasters of all government-provincialised and government-aided secondary schools in Karbi Anglong at Chandra Sing Teron High School, Dharamnala.
The sole purpose of the interactive programme was to learn from teachers about the various problems in their respective schools.
Addressing the teachers, the executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) in-charge of Education, Richard Tokbi, informed that the government of Assam would do away with the setting up of new venture schools. He added that government assistance such as grant-in-aid under KAAC jurisdiction would be stopped.
“It has been discussed in the KAAC executive committee meeting that financial benefits like receiving grant-in-aid will be stopped for venture schools from KAAC. This decision has been taken,” Tokbi informed.
On the good performance of the matriculation results, he thanked all the teachers for their untiring effort and dedication.
“Today, on this momentous occasion of the interaction programme, I am confident that every teacher present will be highly motivated and energised with the resourceful guidance and suggestions received from the distinguished speakers. Let us continue with delivering excellent knowledge and guidance to keep our students updated with the best skill to prepare them to face the challenges of tomorrow,” he added
He appealed to every teacher to treat their students as their own children and give them the right direction so that every individual in society could grow, prosper and contribute towards national building.
