JNV Phek to observe Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam

KOHIMA — The additional deputy commissioner of Pfutsero, Nchumbemo, has informed that the upcoming the second edition of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam coinciding with  the 3rd anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 would be inaugurated on July 29 in New Delhi by the Prime Minister.

He made the announcement during a press briefing at ADC office on Wednesday in Pfutsero. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), located at Lewoza in Phek district under the ministry of Education would be supporting the said event, which would be telecasted live on television throughout the country on July 29.

Nchumbemo has elaborated on the positive impact that NEP 2020 has on their education system, paving the way for a brighter and more progressive future.

Meanwhile, A Kirankumar, Principal of JNV Phek, highlighted the paramount importance and significance of NEP 2020. He made a special mention of JNV’s commendable role as a pace-setting institution in the district, firmly dedicated to adopting an integrated pedagogy that fosters experiential learning within the classroom environment.

Kirankumar emphasised the inculcation of 21st century skills and values, which are essential for the holistic development of the students.

During the proceedings, Krovepe Koza, a representative from the District Education Officer, has appreciated the exemplary role played by JNV in the district. He commended the institution’s relentless dedication in providing modern, high-quality education to talented children especially those hailing from rural backgrounds.

Koza added that their efforts have been nothing short of exemplary in rendering a valuable service to society.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day second Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam being organised by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship on July 29.

The Samagam would provide a platform for experts from schools, higher educational institutions, and skilling institutions to discuss, deliberate and share insights, strategies, success stories and best practices in implementing the NEP 2020.
