JJM awareness programme conducted in Shamator

DIMAPUR — The Jal Jeevan Mission, Implementation Support Agency (ISA), Alongphi Welfare Society, and PHED Tuensang division jointly conducted awareness drives at different locations in Shamator district, encompassing 13 villages under Shamator block and Chessore block, on January 30 and 31.

During the drives, the ISA team emphasised the significance of the Jal Jeevan Mission and encouraged community participation, while the water and sanitation (WATSAN) committee provided hands-on training and field testing kits to the water quality monitoring system (WQMS) team, according to a DIPR report.

During the programmes, topics such as accounting, bookkeeping, water conservation, greywater management, and source sustainability were discussed, and ISA experts conducted training on awareness and information, education, and communication (IEC) activities.
