Imphal, Nov. 13 (EMN): The movement of the goods trucks have stopped along the Imphal-Jiribam sector of the National Highway 37 after an old iron bridge broke down on Monday morning, reports said.
The iron bridge which is located between Sibilong and Oinamlong villages, about 140 km west of Imphal, occurred when a cement loaded truck was passing the bridge around 7 in the morning, it said.
However some of the light vehicles carrying passengers managed to pass the area using the newly constructed rail tunnel in the area, reports claimed.
