“In Nagaland, while we celebrates ‘International Women’s Day’ with the rest of the world, we can say that the people of Nagaland both man and woman are genuinely happy to celebrate this international event in true sense as two Naga women created history in the highest level of achievement in the state,” Savi said.

“The role and contribution of women in the world are to be recognised and regarded in a most respectable manner in many areas. Women are also at the forefront of the battles against COVID-19 as much as the frontline and healthcare workers, scientists, doctors and caregivers,” Savi added.
