In times like this: It behoves all seven (7) Angami MLAs to consider forgoing their rights in favour of those members from remote areas/places whose people are facing greater hardships and challenges than us. The massive public mandate of 2013 Election supporting a particular manifesto under the leadership of two (2) Angami leaders was badly handled, at the cost of the electorate, leading subsequently to a series of crises and confusions. Now is the time for token sacrifices. Lead us on!
Looking at the continual trust and confidence our people have bestowed on us over the long haul in State as well as National affairs, we should feel profoundly indebted to other tribes for enabling us to steer the helm of affairs time and again in different capacities.
Perhaps, it is now time to pause and sensibly look at our own track records and performances while supporting our other tribal fellowmen to take our collective journey forward.

We need to learn the Golden Rule afresh at this moment, not forgetting that we are still beginners (and not advanced).
