HSSLC exam begins today in Nagaland; followed by HSLC

The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination, which is conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), will begin at 9 am today from 65 provisional examination centres across the state.

A total of 16084 students, comprising 8473 girls and 7612 boys, have enrolled (Arts – 12431, Commerce – 1214 and Science – 2439) for HSSLC exam which will be held from March 9 to the 31st.

The NBSE is also simultaneously conducting Class 11 promotion examination 2023 with HSSLC from March 9 to the 31st between 1 pm and 4 pm.

Meanwhile, the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams will commence on March 10 and conclude on the 22nd. It will be held from 9 am to 12 noon for 80/70 marks and 2 hours for 50 marks.

A total of 24361 candidates, comprising 11197 boys and 13164 girls, will be appearing the exam from 96 provisional examination centres.

Candidates are required to bring their original admit cards to the examination hall/room on all the days of the examination. Candidates are also requested to read the question paper carefully before they start to write the answers. Answers to the questions should be written keeping in mind the marks allotted to it.

Candidates have also been advised to take note of permitted items and barred items.
