HSS lauds puja committees for clean, hygienic celebrations

DIMAPUR —The Hindu Seva Samiti (HSS), Dimapur, has lauded the various Durga Puja committees for their generosity, willingness, and dedication, as well as their efforts to maintain a clean, hygienic, and disciplined environment throughout the festival.

In a press release, the HSS Dimapur stated that 57 puja pandals adorned Dimapur this year, culminating on October 24 with Dussehra, which saw 42 immersions at the Hindu Seva Samiti Ghat, with the remainder taking place in Chümoukedima and Rangapahar.

On the occasion, the Samiti thanked the district administration, commissioner of police, Dimapur Traffic Police, disaster response force, Nagaland Fire and Emergency Services, Nagaland Pollution Control Board, Dimapur Municipal Council, and others for their support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the puja celebrations.

It also expressed its gratitude to Tarzan Mill, Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj, Marwari Yuva Manch, Inder Automobile, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Seva Bharati Nagaland, Dimapur Bongs, Bishnu Pada Dey, and others for their various contributions.
