DIMAPUR — The week-long library hours-cum-hands-on computer programme organised by the Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) for Gorkha students of Kohima district for students from classes 3-8 at its multi-utility hall at Chandmari concluded on July 2.
The valedictory function was held on July 2 with Ranjit Lama, former advisor of GPPK as the special guest. In his address, the special guest congratulated GPPK for organising the programme during the summer vacation by drawing resource persons from different disciplines. He also thanked the resource persons, parents and others who have extended their support towards making the programme a success. He has further wished the children a brighter future.
The programme director, Monoj Rai, has presented report on the week-long programme, while Kriti Thapa shared her experience of the programme on behalf of the participants.
On the occasion, the participants presented an action dance, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Prem Pradhan. The programme concluded with singing of the national anthem.
