As we approach Google’s upcoming event, Google I/O 2023, all eyes are on the highly anticipated release of the Pixel 7a smartphone. Fresh photos of the device have recently been leaked by a reliable leaker, Evan Blass, revealing an orange colour option similar to the popular Coral colour of previous Pixel models. Customers will also have the choice of blue, grey or white colours when purchasing their devices.

According to other reliable sources, the Pixel 7a will feature a sleek 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate for stunning visual content. It will be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 processor and ample LPDDR5 RAM to ensure seamless multitasking. In terms of optics, reports suggest that the Pixel 7a will feature a dual-camera system including a primary camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It is expected to come with a 10.8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The Pixel 7a will reportedly run on Android 13 out-of-the-box and could feature facial recognition technology for enhanced security and ease of accessibility. It will probably come with 8GB RAM/128GB storage as the base variant. The device could feature a massive 4500mAh battery and will most likely have support for both wireless and fast charging.

As the release date draws closer, it will be interesting to see whether the Pixel 7a lives up to its high expectations. With its impressive specifications especially the upgraded camera and SoC, the Pixel 7a is all set to become a great mid-range choice for Android users. Come launch day and we will keep you updated.
