DIMAPUR —The Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) along with PWD (R&B) divisional officials conducted a joint inspection of the ongoing Foothill Road construction in various districts on June 27 and the 28th.
An update informed that on spot verification, it was found that the construction works have been executed as per DPRs specification with 100% completed in Naganimora Division, 75-85% executed in Tuli Division, 100% completed in Longleng Division and 75% completed in Mangkolemba Division. The remaining portions are expected to be completed by December 2023.
The remaining Foothills Road sectors under Baghty Division, the longest stretch covering a distance of 89-92 km in the districts, will be taken up at the earliest before second week of July, it stated.
The joint team also held public meetings at Anaki-C, Tuli and Yajang- C with Village Councils Forum of Anaki area and Yajang area, Tsukikong (Tuli) Joint Councils Forum and Langpangkong Road Construction Committee, it stated.
