First BJYM East Karbi Anglong district meeting held

Diphu, April 9 (EMN): The first district executive meeting of Bharatiya Janata Morcha (BJYM) of Karbi Anglong district (East) was held at Karbi Anglong district BJP office near ARTC 1st Gate on Saturday.
Briefing journalists, the president of BJYM, Karbi Anglong District (East) Jiten Bey said the meeting was convened to discuss important organisational matters and to prepare for the upcoming Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) election.
‘In the meeting, we discussed ways to start preparing for the KAAC elections. We want to inform you that in all 26 Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) constituencies, the BJP party will capture power again in the KAAC. We also discussed how BJYM workers can assist the party in the campaigning process during the election’.
Vice president of Assam BJYM and also Prohari for Karbi Anglong Jun Jyoti Keshap including president, BJP East Karbi Anglong District Committee Dhansing Teron; Bevastha Pramukh, BJYM, Karbi Anglong district, Executive Member (EM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Khansing Rongpi and other leaders of the party were present at the meeting, Bey informed.
Apart from district committee leaders, five representatives from each mandal committee were also invited, he said.
