Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN):
Konyak Union (KU) has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Uttarakhand for labelling the civilians killed in Oting village, Mon district, as “terrorists”.

The FIR was filed at Mon police station on Thursday.

Condemning the misleading tag used by the AAP Uttarakhand on its official social media accounts, the Konyak Union has sought the law enforcing authority to “book and punish the offender under appropriate section of the law”.

AAP Uttarakhand had posted a condolence message for the para commando labelling him a “martyr who was killed in an encounter with terrorists in Nagaland”.  After the post went viral, AAP Uttarakhand received condemnations, following which the post was edited and the word “terrorists” was removed from its post.

The FIR copy filed by the KU read: “With great hurt in the sentiment of the Konyak Naga tribe; we, the Konyak Union is filling this FIR against Aam Aadmi Party Uttarakhand labelling 14 innocent civilians of Oting village Mon Nagaland who were botched massacred by Indian military on 4 Dec. 2021, in their Official Twitter as terrorist”.
