Farm School on Banana Cultivation inaugurated in Shamator

DIMAPUR — The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Shamator inaugurated a ‘Farm School on Banana Cultivation’ at Sangphur village in Shamator, with block technology team convenor Kiumukam as the resource person.

A press release from ATMA Shamator informed that the resource person highlighted the importance of banana cultivation and urged the farmers to work collectively with sincerity and hard work to achieve their goals.

Further, it mentioned that a food security group (FSG) and a farmer interest group (FIG) were also formed at Shamator hq. and Shamator town, respectively, on June 12.
