Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): To mark launching of Nagaland chapter, the Film Association of Nagaland (FAN) has contemplated hoisting a programme of the Federation of Film Society of India (FFSI) in Dimapur.
The decision to this effect was taken during its meeting held on July 7 in Kohima, an update from Fan stated.
During the meeting, the members discussed the modalities to work out to organise an open online film competition on “Lockdown tales”. To enhance and better the skills of the Fan members during the pandemic, the house also held workshops for its members and the public to create awareness on film making.
It mentioned that Fan is an organisation having professionals from the media, photography, cinematography, acting etc.
Some of the Fan members, who have participated at the film bazaar in Goa, Docedge in Kolkata, NDFC film bazaar in Goa, shared their experiences during the meeting.
Fan president, Kivini Shohe, in her welcome address, stressed on how the pandemic has made each one re-look at one’s profession and how to contribute to take the organisation forward. The organisation treasurer, Avino Tase, also presented the financial report.
It further mentioned that 50 members under FAN attended the general meeting online.
