Faith in Action begs 1gold, 3 bronze medals

The Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy from Nagaland won 1Gold and 3 Bronze medals in the recently held World Hanmadang Taekwondo Championship. The tournament was held from July 30 to August 2 at Pyeongtaek City, South Korea.
Out of 6 players from the academy, the Gold Medal and Most Valuable Player’s Award was begged by Lokeshwar Singh and Bronze Medal by Ankit Chhetry, Riyon Dutt Pandey and Anish Chhetry in their respective categories
The team from Nagaland was led by Deep Kumar, Director/ Coach of Faith in Action Foundation. It may be noted that it is the second consecutive year for Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy participated in World Taekwondo Championship in South Korea. The event was organised by Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarter and promoted by Tourism and Sports Korea. All together 4663 players from 62 Countries took part in this mega World Taekwondo Championship this year.
Earlier in 2014 the team begged Gold medal in Taekwondo Aerobic and become first World Champions from India in World Hanmadang Taekwondo Championship held in Pohang City, South Korea.
