Dimapur, Nov. 24 (EMN): Excel Naga FC advanced through to the final of the ongoing Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) Silver Jubilee cum TDFA Cup 2017 on Friday.
In the first semi-final encounter of the tournament, Excel Naga FC defeated Chingmei Sporting Association via a tiebreaker.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw after the final whistle with Bashang (jersey no. 14) and Nungsang (jersey no. 11) scoring in the 50th and 55th minute for Excel Naga FC. While for Chingmei Sporting Association, Chang Lemba (jersey no. 13) and Hongkin (jersey no. 9) made the conversion in the 53rd and 88th minute respectively.
Roko (jersey no. 1), the goal keeper of Excel Naga FC was awarded the player of the match.
The grand finale of the ongoing TDFA Cup will be played on Monday, Nov. 27.
