… “For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. James 1:13b-14
Temptation is neither a gift nor a curse but it is a force which drives us to the edge of death and life. It is a power which had been enforced and the powers of it are as destructive as AIDS is to sinners. Every man and woman are vulnerable to the dreaded disease, and unless the evils of it are wiped out the victims of it will not only experience shame and discrimination here on earth but they (sinners ) will be an outcast even in heaven. When young sinners gives in to temptation, the moments of weaknesses either scars or stains their lives. This truth may hurt a bit because the acts of surgery always hurts. And the truth is unless the truth becomes part of us the hurts and pains of the present will torment us even in hell.The sins of the unholy cultures has played a major role in enticing sinners to the ways of the world. The introduction of the social media gave rise to more sins, more sinners and more vulgarity. To talk of this we are reminded of the sinners whom we see every day and whom we sin with everyday. The common strategy which common sinners follows will always end in tragedy. The strategies of sinners are always deceitful and the evils of it only brings about death, miseries and humiliations to the victims of it. The miserable truth is that the sons and daughters of satan are ever increasing and if anyone partakes in the sins of these sinners, they will experience what sinners experience in hell. Sinners becomes what they are either because of lack of knowledge or because of their disobedience.
Every sin starts with a process and ends in death. The scripture does not only condemn sin but it also condemns sinners who are victims of it. It is not he healthy who needs a doctor but it is the unhealthy who needs to be healed. The desires which rages in our hearts are not as holy as we appear to be but the evils which are in us are as evil as our hearts are. If I am to interpret this in the light of the truth, I would term it as “remedial measures for intentional sinners”. The ways of sin has grown old and unless the evils of the old sins are wiped out, the security of our future will be threatened. The wives (some) of our nation are now becoming immoral as the world is and the evils of their hearts can be likened to the acts of the dogs. The statements of these truths are not only against sinful women but it is also aimed at men who are often the leaders of sin. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the written truths of these words are aimed at resurrecting the fallen sinners to the life of Christ.
The acts of our sinful nature are the evidences of all that we are and the desires of our sinful nature stirs our minds and hearts to the ways of sin. The Word of Life states “but each one is tempted when by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin and sin, when it is full grown ,gives birth to death ( James 1:14-15 ). The sins of our lives are as numerous as the hairs on our head and every act of sin we commit will result in judgment which will ultimately lead to the second death. Whoever partakes in the sins of these sinners will have no liberty to either repent or return to Christ in the next death.
In regard to the false teachers and the sinners the scripture states “They will be paid back with harm for the harm for the harm they did. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight; They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you. With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed-an accursed brood ( 2nd Peter 2:13-14 ). It is not the saints who are sinners but it is the sinners who are trouble makers. The vices listed above reminds us of what we are. In view of this it is important that we shun the evils in us lest we be destroyed because of it. Satan now knocks on your door to take you to hell. Give not into his demands, neither be enticed by the ways of sinners. Satan desires to have you as a guest in hell and if you continue doing what you do ( sinning), you will be destroyed because of what you did. Regarding such sinners the scripture states “ But little do they know that the dead are there, that her quest are in the depths of the grave ( Proverbs 9:18 ). The ultimate truth is that if you are enticed by evil, you will live as a slave of evil for the rest of your life in this present age and in the age that is to come. Do not be enticed by evil but overcome evil with good ( Romans 12:21 ). The God of the past is also the God of the present and the future. Trust God, love God and the gods of the world will have no power over you. Do not be a weakling; rather be strengthened by the power of God’s grace. You are now marked and the things you do from now on will determine where you end up or become in the future. God loves you so much. Hurt God no more. The Church of Christ expects to see the best of you in this life and in the new age. Love God and love Christ.
