Evan Rachel Wood ‘dating’ Ray Donovan star Katherine Moennig

Evan Rachel Wood was quick to confirm that there was no third party – male or female – involved in her split from husband Jamie Bell in May, slamming reports that she had ‘hooked up’ with actress Michelle Rodriguez.
But it seems that the 27-year-old is embracing her bisexuality with her latest relationship, with Us Weekly revealing that the former True Blood star is in the throes of a new romance with Ray Donovan actress Katherine Moennig, 36.
‘Evan is crazy about Katherine. She had a crush on her for years but now can act on it…The age difference doesn’t bother her at all either,’ an insider tells the publication.
‘She thinks they make an amazing couple. She is head over heels and Katherine feels the same way,’ the source added.
Earlier in October, the actresses were seen dropping by Hammer Museum’s Gala In The Garden together, where an eyewitness shared with Page Six that the pair were walking around hand-in-hand inside the star-studded bash.
‘Evan Rachel Wood arrived with Kate Moennig. They were holding hands and looked very much like a couple,’ the insider told the gossip website.
Avid followers of Evan and Kate on Twitter may recall seeing the pair engage in a bit of friendly bantor on the microblogging site.
Evan tweeted in February 2013: ‘Just saw @katemoennig at a flea market. I turned to mush and ran. Love her!!’
The former The L Word star replied: ‘@evanrachelwood you should have said hi. :)’
Just five months ago, Evan and her Billy Elliot star husband Jaime Bell announced their separation following two years of marriage.
The couple tied the knot in October 2012 and became parents to a baby boy in July 2013, though they have kept further details – including the child’s name – firmly under wraps.
Shortly before her marriage, the actress was asked by Esquire if she ‘dates women’, to which she replied, ‘Yes.’
‘Yeah, I’m more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I’m the dominant one… I’m opening the doors, I’m buying dinner. Yeah, I’m romantic.’
Meanwhile for Kate, the actress portrays Lena in the hit Showtime drama Ray Donovan.
In addition to that role, she is also currently filming My Dead Boyfriend, which is slated for a 2014 release date.
