Dimapur, Feb. 9 (EMN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organization (ENPO) has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for appointing NPF MLA YM Yollow Konyak as Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change; H Chuba Chang as Advisor for Justice and Law, SCERT; and S Keoshu Yimkhiung as advisor of Village Guards and Information and Public Relations.

All the three legislators are from eastern Nagaland region.

“It may be put on record that, as in the given past, the Hon’ble Chief Minister had shown deep, keen and a helpful interest to the plight and welfare of the underdeveloped and underprivileged ENPO region bordering Myanmar. And thus, in continuation of his concern for the people, the kind gesture towards the three ENLU members makes it possible for us to exist and to make the community a great place to live,” read the statement from ENPO.

“Further, the ENPO has felicitated the three Hon’ble ENLU (Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union) members for being appointed as Minister and Advisors in different departments as mentioned, and wish them good luck as they assume the great responsibilities,” it added.
