Employment department organises job fair held in Kohima

DIMAPUR — To mitigate the burgeoning unemployment problem in the state, the Sub Regional Employment Officer, National Career Service Centre for SC/STs, Kohima, Nagaland, and the Regional Employment Officer (Model Career Centre, Kohima), jointly conducted a job fair on Tuesday at the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Nagaland, Kohima, beginning from 10 am to 5 pm.

An update from the department stated that a total of four employers and 758 jobseekers participated in the event.

Report also stated that more than 300 candidates were shortlisted by the employers for further round of interviews. Final selection report would be known after employers completed their selection processes, the report stated.
