DIMAPUR — Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Nagaland, in collaboration with the Election Commission of India (ECI), conducted the third stage theme-wise training-cum-evaluation for the state level master trainers (SLMT) in connection with the forthcoming Lok Sabha election 2024 on July 28.
ECI principal secretary, Darsuo Thang, who was also present during the training, stated that the Indian democracy is one of the best functioning democracies and acknowledged the role of everyone involved to make it such a vibrant democracy.
An update from the Election department stated that he has further emphasised on the crucial role of the SLMT in the entire process.
It mentioned that SLMT were divided into five theme-wise groups. It stated that the 1st session was dedicated to discussion and doubt clearing, while in the second session presentations were made by SLMT and concluded with evaluation during the third session.
