Dimapur, April 3 (EMN): Educational empowerment training program for teachers was organised under the aegis of International Research Exchange Board, US Government, Washington from March 23 to 25 at Chessore, Tuensang District.
The three alumni of International Leaders in Education Program hosted by the US Government, namely; Fr. Francis Yimso from St. Christopher School, Chessore, Christina Neikhrienuo from Little Star Higher Secondary School Dimapur and Tonika Yepthomi from Government High School, Diphupar ‘B’, were the resource persons for the training.
Aruthong, one of the participants commented that it was the first such opportunity created for the teachers of the area and was a great eye opener and learning opportunity for them.
A total of 37 teachers from government and private school participated.
