IF one is looking for educational consultancy for universities and colleges for overseas education or elsewhere within the country, aspiring candidates need not worry as Global Reach (GR), an education consultancy counseling, today opened its branch in Kohima at Old Taxi Stand. The office was formally inaugurated by Regional Marketing Manager, Intueri Education Group, New Zealand, Rolf Baum in presence of General Manager of GR India, Ratan Mukherjee and Head of Operations, GR Kohima, Anthony L. Kaje.
Set up in 1991, Global Reach pioneered the concept of educational counseling in Eastern India and currently manages the marketing and representation of over 350 accredited universities and educational institutions worldwide. Global Reach’s presence today is beyond Eastern India to cover most locations in India and also in Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
Though Global Reach represents Overseas Universities in India and is considered amongst the most comprehensive overseas education consultants in India, the process actually begins with career counseling, a leaflet provided here said, adding that trained counsellors advise students on careers in demand and try to match it with the students’ educational background, aptitude and aspirations.
“We believe that Overseas education is not an expense but an investment where the returns come over a lifetime,” it maintained.
The counselling is customized and where requested assistance is also provided with information on educational loans, it said adding that the counseling is free of cost.
GR assists the students through the entire process from career counseling to selection of programmes, selection of university, assistance in application process, IELTS preparation and visa counseling.
