Dzüleke Village Day celebrated
DIMAPUR — The 18th Dzülekemia Teisozha (Dzüleke Village Day) was held at the village council hall on Thursday with Nino Iralu, District and Session Judge, Wokha, as the special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Iralu urged the people of Dzüleke to zealously participate in community development works for the benefit of the village, according to an update received here on Friday.
She suggested that each family adopts certain area of land to grow flowers, vegetables or to rear domestic animals, citing the rich natural resources of the village.
While stressing the need to save in order to meet various expenses, including medical and children’s education, she told the gathering to be proud of their rich culture and preserve it.
The event was marked by speeches, greetings, folk song by Saphrü and Megotsolie and several other presentations.
