DPS Dimapur to represent Nagaland in INTACH national heritage quiz
DIMAPUR — Imkongsunep Longchar of Class 10 C and Sentimoa Longkumer of Class 9 C from Delhi Public School (DPS), Dimapur, won the Nagaland round of INTACH National Heritage Quiz 2023, the country’s biggest quiz competition for schools, held at Don Bosco Institute for Development Learning (DBIdl), Riverbelt Colony, Dimapur, on August 30.
An update from INTACH Nagaland Chapter stated that they will represent the state at the regional round in Guwahati and compete at the national championship in New Delhi if they win the regional round.
It stated that 70 students from classes 7-10 comprising St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, El-Shaddai Academy, The Maple Tree School, Christian Higher Secondary School, Hollotoli School, Delhi Public School and Charis High Academy participated in the quiz competition.
The report stated that all the participants received a participation certificate, while the three top teams were awarded winner’s certificate and INTACH publications on heritage.
Meanwhile, INTACH Nagaland has thanked all the schools for their cooperation and participation and further conveyed best wishes to the winning team to bring laurels to their school and the state.
