Dorians Society to organise MTB cyclothon on Oct. 23
Dimapur, Oct. 10 (EMN): Dorians Society has announced to organise a MTB cyclothon in Dimapur on October 23.
The release informed that it would be an ‘open’ event for both men and women and youths in the 13-19 years age category. The route for men would cover 57 km and for women 25 km. As per the Society, it would be the longest competitive cycling route in Nagaland to date.
The flag off point would be at DC’s office traffic point at 5 am and culminate at the State Stadium.
The route would cover DC’s office Police Point – City Tower Junction – Holy Cross Junction – Bata Chariali – Town Hall Police Point – Kuda Village – Lungwiram Junction – Toulazouma – Zoological Park – Singrijan – New Chümoukedima Village – Sukhovi Gate – Vidima – Kiyeto – Dhansiripar Junction – OTS – Singrijan – Zoological Park – Thahekhu Junction – Thahekhu Village – Signal Basti – Dhobi Nala – Midland – State Stadium.
The total cash prizes of the competition would be INR 80,000 as per the release from the organisation. The organisation also hoped to make into an annual event with national and international cyclists participating in future events.
