District Press Club of Karbi Anglong and District Administration organises cleanliness drive

Diphu, Nov. 15 (EMN): On account of National Press Day, the District Press Club of Karbi Anglong (DPCKA) and District Administration jointly carried out a cleanliness drive at Diphu market on Tuesday.
The cleanliness drive was joined by Karbi Anglong Deputy Commissioner, Madhumita Bhagawati, senior journalist Sanju Bora, Kamrul Islam, and others.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Bhagawati urged the shoppers to keep their surroundings clean to make the town area neat and clean.
DPCKA President, Diganta Teron said that the cleanliness drive was organised in the market area so that businessmen, traders and vegetable vendors can be aware and keep the market clean. He said, “This drive may not change the whole but at least a few could follow the steps we do. Together we can change our town area to neat and clean”.
