District administrations hold meeting with depts. implementing various welfare schemes

Dimapur, May 28 (EMN): Ahead of the Prime Minister’s interaction with beneficiaries of various schemes/programmes of government of India, the district administrations of Chumoukedima, Zunheboto and Longleng held a review meeting with the head of offices and departments on May 27.

An update from DIPR informed that Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukedima, Abhinav Shivam, had a brief meeting with the departments implementing various welfare schemes under Chumoukedima at DC’s Conference Hall, wherein he requested all the concerned departments to list out the beneficiaries and submit it to SDO (C), latest by May 29. The DC also informed that on May 31, there will be an interaction with the beneficiaries of various schemes at CTC, Chumoukedima.

He further highlighted that, there are 13 schemes covered under Chumoukedima district – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (both Grameen & Urban); Pradhan Mantri Kissan Samman Nidhi; Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana; POSHAN Abhiyan; Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana; Swachh Bharat Mission(both Grameen & Urban); JalJeevan Mission & AMRUT; Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi scheme; One Nation One Ration card; Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojona; Ayushman Bharat PM Jan Arogya Yojana; Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, it read.

Similarly, a review meeting on the status of all the concerned heads of offices was held at Deputy Commissioner’s office in Zunheboto, wherein the DC informed that the concerned departments are to identify 20 beneficiaries under their respective departments to interact with the PM on May 31 (9 am).

It said that logistics arrangements for network and video conference will be done by DIO, NIC, JTO, and BSNL, uninterrupted power supply by EE Power, pre-event publicity and communication, coverage of the event, post-event publicity, and PA system arrangement will be done by DPRO Zunheboto, nodal officer for beneficiaries and network connectivity by SDO Civil Zunheboto, logistic arrangement by ADC Zunheboto and EAC (Estt.), Zunheboto will be the communication assistant.

Meanwhile, the district administration of Longleng also held a meeting, wherein the DC, M Shayung Phom informed the administrative officers and the HoDs on logistic arrangements and preparation, adding that arrangements of venue would be done by the district administration, while installation of TV/LED screen will be carried out by DIO, NIC, DPRO would overlook the arrangement of PA system and media coverage, seat arrangement will be done by CDPO, first aid facilities by CMO and refreshment by PD, DRDA, ADS, DAO & EE, PHED, an update said.
