Dipti, Monica and Ridamaya win Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East
DIMAPUR — Dipti Basumatary from Assam, Monica Konjengbam from Manipur and Ridamaya Passah from Meghalaya were declared joint winners of the 20th edition of the Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East 2024.
The grand finale of the mega beauty pageant was held at ITA Cultural Complex, Machkhowa, in Guwahati, on March 2, an update informed.
There were no runners up titles and it came down to the three winners getting equally awarded with prize packages and benefits.
Apart from winning the Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East crown, two of the winners were also given the opportunity to represent India at the international stage in the beauty pageants.
Monica Konjengbam, who also won the title of Mega Miss India- Continental World, will be representing India at Miss Continental World to be held in Thailand later this year.
On the other hand, Ridamaya Passah, who was also awarded the title of Mega Miss India – Top Model of Universe, will be given the equal opportunity to represent India at the Top Model of Universe pageant to be held in Turkey slated for this year.
“Mega Entertainment is gearing up to provide both the winners with a good amount of comprehensive series of preparation and training sessions, ensuring that they are primed to shine on the global stage,” the update stated.
Speaking at the grand finale of the event, Abhijeet Singha, founder of Mega Entertainment said, “We are delighted to introduce the triumphant trio from the 20th Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East competition: Dipti, Monica, and Ridamaya! All the three winners will receive INR 1,00,000 individually. Additionally, they will also receive other prizes including: travel opportunities, professional representation from Mega Entertainment, brand engagements, shoots, appearances at youth and fashion events, and public relations and reputation management from the reigning term Life’s Purple.
Apart from the main winners, the contestants also competed in a series of subtitles. The Sunsilk Serum Miss Shine Queen title was awarded to Dipsikha Deka from Assam, Hotel Daaysco Oley Allo Miss Congeniality title went to Monica Konjengbam from Manipur,
Dazller Eterna Miss Glamourous was awarded to Emichwa Daka B Ladia from Meghalaya while Dipti Basumatary from Assam Butterfly won the Miss Fashion Icon.
