Diphupar ‘B’ Village destroys seized liquor

Dimapur, Feb. 25: Diphupar ‘B’ Village Council along with Naga Youth Organisation Diphupar ‘B’ and Naga Women Organisation Diphupar ‘B’ on Saturday destroyed liquor which were seized from within the village.

The community destroyed 273 bottles of IMFL worth Rs 30,000 that were seized during raids conducted at Diphupar ‘B’ village from six ‘pan shops’ run by Nagas.
Naga Youth Organisation Diphupar ‘B’ president Zhatuo Chuzho, presiding over the programme, conveyed that ‘selling of drugs and alcohol within the vicinity of Diphupar ‘B’ Village is strictly prohibited and those found doing so will be dealt with accordingly and even leads to expulsion from the village.

He also informed that the community will continue conducting such raids in the days to come.

The IMFL bottles were destroyed by Naga Woman Organisation Diphupar ‘B’ in the presence of Diphupar ‘B’ Village Council, Naga Youth Organisation Diphupar ‘B’ and Gaon Buras.
