Dimapur, Aug. 9 (EMN): Office of the Dimapur District Education Officer (DEO) will be organising a district-level science seminar on August 27 on the topic ‘Periodic table of chemical elements: impact on human welfare.”
The DEO, Dimapur, R Amongla Jamir informed all the government and private schools under Dimapur district to submit the name of one participant from Classes VII to Class X to her office at Room No. 2 on or before August during office hour.
The DEO further informed that time and venue would be notified later.
In a separate statement, DEO Dimapur informed that selection test for admission to Class VI at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) 2020 would be held on April 11, 2020.
Interested students studying in Class V are asked to collect the forms and guidelines from the District Education Office, Dimapur, or Principal JNV Nihokhu, Dimapur. They can directly submit an application online by login on www.navodaya.gov.in/www.nvsadmissionclasssix.in. The last date for submission online has been set on September 15, 2019.
Meanwhile, DEO Dimapur informed all the schools (both government and private) under Dimapur district to collect the Teachers’ Day token and car flags from its office during office hours. The token would be issued as per the students’ enrolment of the school at the rate of INR 5 per token and INR 20 per car flag.
