DIMAPUR — Dimapur Bongs observed Mahalaya on the morning of Wednesday, marking the commencement of the Durga Puja festivities.
According to an update, Dimapur Bongs celebrates this day every year on the theme “Mahalaya Adda”.
It was mentioned that during the event, hundreds gathered near the Dimapur Bongs office to witness performances by youngsters and recitations of sacred hymns.
Speaking on the occasion, the president of Dimapur Bongs remarked that Mahalaya is a celebration of their collective heritage and the enduring spirit of good prevailing over evil.
