DIC Kohima invites applications for stenography course

DIMAPUR — The office of the General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Kohima, invited applications from intending candidates for a 12-month training course in stenography at DIC Kohima for the session 2024-2025.

According to a DIPR report, candidates have been instructed to submit applications on plain paper, along with their bio-data and attested copies of necessary documents, meeting the minimum educational qualifications—graduate and above for the forward tribe, and PU (12th) pass and above for the backward tribe.

The deadline for submitting applications is March 22, and interviews will be conducted on March 27 at 10:30 am in the office chamber of the general manager at DIC, Kohima. Candidates are required to bring their original educational/testimonial certificates for verification during the interview.

It is clarified that neither separate calling letters nor travel and daily allowances (TA/DA) will be provided. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend, as admissible.

It maintained that the programme is solely for self-employment and that no job guarantee is provided upon completion of the training, adding that the training period will begin on April 1, 2024.
