DIMAPUR — Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF), during its 1st executive meeting on May 13 at Hotel Saramati, has voiced out at the traffic congestions, deplorable condition of the roads, particularly the stretch from DC junction to Kalibari Road via GS Road and Dillai Gate to Station road via Tragopan junction, despite the stretch being the highest revenue paying locality.
The house also expressed concern over lack of proper street lights along the streets in the heart of the city despite paying the street light fee by every consumer.
DDCF has urged the concerned authority to address the deplorable road condition along the above mentioned stretch before the onset of monsoon season, provide proper street lights and come up with a better plan to address the traffic woes of Dimapur city.
DDCF expressed hope that the administration would take note of the above mentioned points and do the needful accordingly for a better Dimapur city.
Meanwhile, the Forum has thanked the Ao Senso Telongjem Dimapur (ASTD) for hosting the executive meeting.
