Dimapur, July 25 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Phek, Razouvolie Dozo, inaugurated a newly constructed farmers’ market at Bible Colony in Phek town on July 23. The market complex was constructed by the department of Rural Development under GIA to RLBs during 2019-2020 and to be managed by the Village Development Board (VDB), Phek village.
Speaking at the programme, the DC appealed to the people to judiciously utilise the facility with care and sincerity. He also urged the farmers to reasonably sell their products so as to attract its customers and never take advantage by charging high prices, informed by an update from DRDA, Phek.
Dozo further urged the management authority to deliver efficient service to the people and hoped that the beautiful asset would benefit the people especially farmers.
The DRDA project director, Phek, Razukhru D Vasa; former BDO of Phek block, Kuhucuyi D Vadeo; BDO of Phek block, Heipeuding Ilunglung; and former VCC of Phek, Chivozo Soho, also spoke during the inauguration ceremony.
